SensatioNail Gel Starter Kit Follow Up Week 2

Well I am a few days late with my promised follow up to my first review of the SensatioNail Gel Starter kit but here it is.
I learned many valuable lessons this week with this gel polish. Number one when the polish starts hanging on everything on the upper part of your nail you probably should not pull on it or else it will peel back and then when you try to push it back in place it breaks. Next I learned one should not soak hands in 100% acetone, because first it will burn, then skin will turn a ghostly white, then nails will become brittle and break if you look at them. I began removing the polish with half a small glass bowl of acetone sitting in a slightly larger bowl of warm water and I finished with much less than half a bowl of acetone and a bowl of cold water. Where the acetone went I have not idea but I suspect probably my skin and yes the water was honestly no longer warm, it took that long to remove. I applied the polish in probably less than 30 minutes and it probably took an hour to an hour and a half to get it off. The acetone was taking forever so I cheated and used an electric manicure set to speed up the process. Had my patience not ran out and I continued with the acetone I would have probably been there for at least 2 hours removing polish. This is my biggest gripe about this product it takes much too long to take it off once it is applied even after weeks of wear. I am considering purchasing the removal tool but am not sure I want to invest that much time in removing polish. On another negative side my nails were very brittle and a few broke once the polish was removed.
On an up side the polish was two days shy of staying intact for 2 weeks. On day 10 I had the major chips begin because I picked at the polish when it was hanging on things around my cuticles. My nails had grown a good deal while wearing the polish but sadly many broke once the polish was removed.
Overall I must retract my first rating and submit this review with a 5 star approval. I loved that the polish lasted but did not love that it stayed even when fighting with 100% pure acetone to get rid of it. If the company could invent a better removal method I would be happier with the product. As of now I have not talked myself into applying more of the polish because I can not stand the thought of time I will have to invest to take it off. Was it pretty, shiny, and did it last? Yes it was and yes it did. The shine lasted until the final removal, it was just missing in a few of the chipped off places. The only chip I had the first week was a thumb nail (pictured in my first post) that I did not seal correctly with the primer and polish. The second week I added chips when the polish began to hang around my cuticles on everything I touched. Had I left the polish alone I believe I could have managed another day of wear before I had to remove it but it was just getting on my nerves too bad.
If you have plenty of patience to sit and apply and then sit even longer to remove nail polish this starter kit is going to be for you. If you are however like me and like instant gratification you are probably not going to find this kit the perfect answer to all your nail troubles. This my friends, is my opinion of SensatioNail gel polish starter kit.
