I love my “me” relax time. Often I spend that time pampering my hair, skin and nails. What makes me really happy is when I can find budget friendly at home spa treatment options. You can look and feel great while sticking to a budget. You just need to know what products to look for. I am sharing one of these products with you today and where I bought it just might shock you!
Feet Care is Important Care
Often when we think about spa treatments the only foot care that comes to mind is a pedicure. While these are said to be wonderful, I honestly don’t know because I have never had one, there are other nice things you can do for your feet in the comfort of your home. When I pamper my feet at home I reach for a moisturizing sock. Sounds fancy and expensive right? Well it is one of the cheapest pampering products I use! Let me introduce you to Nu-Pore.

Nu-Pore packaging boasts of being a luxurious home spa treatment. It claims these moisturizing socks will hydrate, soften and smooth. I will be honest I really had my doubts. I spotted this product on a shelf first at a 99 cent store and later at a Dollar Tree. That is correct, this product boasts of all these wonderful things and costs a buck! See now why I had my doubts? I was pretty sure this would be a one time try it purchase as I tossed the package into my cart. I could NOT have been more wrong!
Nu-Pore Moisturizing Socks Ease of Use
I have gone through the irritation of using foot oils, rubs and scrubs in the past. These things are time consuming and often do not produce the results I was hoping for. Nu-Pore Moisturizing Socks were so very simple to use. I use them right out of the shower. This way my feet are fresh and clean. All you do is put your foot into the very strange bag-looking sock with the liquid side next to skin. While walking and relaxing take a few moments and just massage the liquid into your feet. Keep these funny looking gadgets on for 20-30 minutes occasionally massaging your feet.
When you have worn the socks for the time frame take them off and toss them in the trash. Massage any excess liquid that is left into your feet. That is the only requirements. Process is complete. I take the process a step farther to just ensure that my feet stay fresh and clean. I put on a comfortable pair of socks after use.
Nu-Pore Moisturizing Socks Results
I have been amazed at the results these very affordable moisturizing socks produce. My feet are very dry; especially my heels. I mean so dry you can feel when the covers slide across them. Mediocre results were the most I expected. What I got was very smooth and hydrated feet. It felt so nice to slip on socks with no dry skin scrubbing. There was no burning, itching or irritation to my skin at all. The only gripe I had was that after using the product my feet felt exceptionally cold. I am uncertain if this is due to an ingredient in the product or just my weird limb health. Either way I had discovered a product that performed well beyond my expectations. The results lasted me for around a week! It doesn’t sound like much time but for a buck it was well appreciated.
Budget Friendly at Home Spa Treatment Nu-Pore Moisturizing Socks in Closing
These Nu-Pore Moisturizing socks “knocked my socks off” so to speak. I was very impressed. I was so impressed with the product that when I saw it in stores again I stocked up. 3 to 4 packs of these socks made their way into my bathroom. Now when I have had all I can stand of my dry feet the cure is waiting for me. I also accidentally discovered they make gloves for your hands as well as the socks. Yes, I later discovered not all my purchases were socks. It’s alright though I have great expectations for these gloves!
The only real battle I have with using these moisturizing socks is that I am really into the pure and clean natural products. The package reads clean, with aloe and shea butter but the ingredients list is awfully long and contains some strange wording. I can tell you it is not as clean as some other products I use BUT it is very affordable for any budget. It works just as good or better than some high end products I have used. All in all, it depends on how you feel about it. I do not use it all the time so I am pretty comfortable with that.
