I love trying new products and had been wanting to try a tea infuser for a while. When I saw these cute manatea I could not pass up the opportunity. These came in a set of two. You have Mr. and Mrs. Manatea. Of course like always I was drawn to the pink one. That is fine because my son can use the other one. He likes tea also.
These cuties are made with 100% food grade silicone. They are very easy to use. All you have to do is twist off their tail and put your tea into their tail before twisting the top back on. These are great for loose tea and can also be used for tea bags. They simply hang on the side of your cup. While they hang out in their cup spa your water will start to turn a tea color. I allowed my to stay on my cup until the tea was cool enough to drink.
These darlings are also very easy to clean. Of course being me I washed mine with warm water before their first use but even after use it is still so simple. I emptied out the Manatea tail and ran it under warm water again. It was ready for the next use just like that!
I have to tell a funny little story that goes along with these Manatea. I had the gray one in the dish drainer and had laid the pink one back out on my island when my husband went into the kitchen. I hear him saying what in the world. I said what in the world is what? He said these weird little creatures you have placed all over the kitchen. I say the Manatea? He says these pink and gray funny looking things. I said yes those are tea infusers. He said oh that thing you had on your cup the other night…ok I guess.
You never can tell what might be around my house but you can bet that I try out some cool products. I did receive the Manatea tea infusers for free or at a discount in exchange for an honest unbiased review. This review has not been influenced by the company making or selling this product and has also not been influenced by the means by which I got to finally try this product. The opinions here are 100% my own. The stories you know could only come from the crazy life of this reviewer!
